Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern access to aiyuclinic.com (the "Platform"), the Ayurveda practitioner-discovery and appointment platform operated by Sah Business Family.

Last updated: 28 July 2026 · Published by Sah Business Family.

Introduction and acceptance

aiyuclinic.com helps patients discover independent Ayurveda practitioners and request appointments for video or in-clinic consultations. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation and Refund Policy, Teleconsultation and Chat Policy, and (for practitioners) Doctor Partner Terms, govern your use of the Platform.

By creating an account, browsing practitioner profiles, or booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are published in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Platform role and independence of practitioners

aiyuclinic.com is a discovery and appointment-booking marketplace. It is not a hospital, clinic, or healthcare provider, and does not itself practise medicine. Practitioners listed on the Platform are independent professionals solely responsible for the clinical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, and medical records arising from a consultation.

We facilitate discovery, scheduling, payment collection, and secure communication tools; we do not supervise, direct, or guarantee any practitioner's clinical judgment or a consultation's outcome.

Eligibility, accounts, and minors

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. An appointment for a minor must be booked and supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy of the minor's information and for being present or reachable during the consultation.
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, verifying your phone number, or booking an appointment, and keep your account credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.

Practitioner listing and verification

Before a practitioner's profile is publicly visible, we review the registration certificate, qualification certificate, identity document, and WhatsApp-verified phone number they submit, through an internal verification workflow. A profile stays private until it is marked verified.

Verification confirms that submitted documents appear consistent with the credentials claimed; it is not a guarantee of a practitioner's ongoing clinical competence, conduct, or the outcome of any consultation.

Bookings and consultation modes

  • An appointment is confirmed only when its status on the Platform shows accepted or confirmed — a submitted request alone is not a confirmed booking.
  • Each offering displays its price, consultation mode (video or in-clinic), duration, and cancellation terms before you pay; the terms shown at the time of booking apply to that appointment.
  • Video consultations use Google Calendar/Google Meet where the practitioner has connected their calendar; in-clinic appointments take place at the address published on the practitioner's profile.

Fees and payment

Online payments are processed through third-party payment gateways — Cashfree for payments in Indian Rupees and Stripe for other currencies. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account credentials; these are handled directly by the payment gateway under applicable Reserve Bank of India payment-aggregator regulations.

Where a practitioner offers pay-at-consultation, no online consultation fee is collected by the Platform for that booking; any amount collected in person is between you and the practitioner.

Cancellation and refund entitlements are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

  • Do not impersonate another person, misuse another person's account, or submit false identity, registration, or booking information.
  • Do not use the Platform for medical emergencies, or interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent its security or booking systems.
  • Do not upload, transmit, or share unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing material through profiles, chat, or consultation tools.
  • We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for user safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, consistent with an intermediary's due-diligence obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Intellectual property

The Platform's name, logo, design, and software are owned by or licensed to Sah Business Family and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent. Content you submit (such as a profile photograph or a message) remains yours, but you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process it solely to operate the Platform.

Emergency-care limitation

The Platform does not provide emergency medical services and must never be used for a medical emergency or life-threatening condition. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your nearest emergency service or hospital immediately.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, that every listed practitioner will be available, or any particular clinical outcome from a consultation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, advice, or conduct of any practitioner, or for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, or any consumer right, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Grievance redressal and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong with a booking, payment, or a practitioner's conduct on the Platform, raise it through our Grievance Redressal Policy, which sets out how to submit a complaint and our response timelines. Using our internal process does not affect your right to approach a consumer disputes redressal commission or other competent authority under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Governing law, jurisdiction, and changes to these Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, the courts at Raxaul, Bihar have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform.

We may revise these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your use applies, and the "last updated" date below reflects the most recent revision.
